A former actor on the popular Japanese TV anime program "Kamen Rider Blade" was attacked by a man with a golf club, police said.

According to police, Takayuki Tsubaki, 34, suffered injuries to his face in the incident which occurred at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday night outside his home in Tokyo's Nakano area, Fuji TV reported.

Police said Tsubaki was walking along the sidewalk where he started arguing with a man on a motorbike who crossed his path. The man’s brother, who was nearby, appeared and hit Tsubaki with a golf club. Police have charged that man, Go Okazaki, with assault. He was quoted as saying he went to his brother's aid.

@sakanafish he didn't had his gear on him. I hope he is ok, using a golf club in an argument seems a little excessive.

Going to his aid would be breaking up the fight then being able to sleep in your own bed at night.
