He sounds like one of those possessive, jealous and abusive types. Don't get mixed up with such guys, ladies. It is not love nor care they display no matter how much they try to spin it that way. And there are many around.

On the news they could check his activity from facebook? I think and it showed he was listening to music at that very moment. If only they could trace his ip too.

And there are women like that, too. More than a few, in fact. Don't get mixed up with such women, guys.

This story is so sad. I really feel for this poor girl's family.

How exactly are women supposed to identify these guys before getting mixed up with them?

I'm still hoping they find this poor girl alive but the guy fleeing to Chile is not a good sign.. What an extremely disturbing person.

Agree that 'identifying' them before something even starts is impossible but reckon many ppl, men and women, show their true colours pretty quickly in a relationship. A bloke/girl sending you hundreds of sms everyday isn't 'normal', wanting to know where you are, with whom etc at all times isn't 'normal', posting a vid on fb with conditions, threats etc isn't 'normal', too much/too soon "unconditional love' isn't normal etc.

Although there is no 'zero risk' relationship I reckon it's possible to minimise the risks of ending up with unbalanced and possibly dangerous ppl by ending the relation/run away asap. Doesn't always end up as tragically as this but in most cases control freaks/xxl emotional wrecks will abuse their partner emotionally and basically ruin their life. The extra attention/love/jealousy may feel great at first (massage ego thing) but this is not, imo, love.

Sad story. Too many Japanese women get murdered while abroad. They get hooked up with all these jerks and end up dead. Naivety is a large part of the problem.

In a video published by French and Japanese media, the suspect, identified as Nicolas Zepeda Contreras, threatens Kurosaki with unnamed consequences if she did not fulfil unspecified conditions.

Speaking in English in a video dating from September, he says he loves Kurosaki, whom he identifies by first name, but accuses her of doing “bad things”.

Holding up two fingers he gave her a two-week deadline until Sept 21 to meet his conditions, which he said applied “some for her whole stay in France and some, actually, forever.”

“She needs to build trust and she needs to pay a little cost of what she did and assume (sic) that she cannot go around making those kinds of mistakes with a person who loves her,” he added.

sounds like a real live one.

Looks like a nice guy on google images. Maybe a Ted Bundy type.

Yup that is one, but asides from that I know a lot of Japanese women who maybe look innocent but ruined so many of their ex boyfriends so bad. Sometimes Japanese women do the coldest thing in a relationship, Admit it, not all Japanese girls are innocent, they sometimes don't give you a sign, they can say I love you and cuddle you today but suddenly dumped you the next day without any traces. What I'm saying is, Japanese women should need to be cautious of how they should handle or end their relationships too especially with non japanese men who don't know the culture very well as they really don't know how their ex-boyfriends will take these circumstances.

I hope this guy would get caught asap and pay for his crime.

Either the french police is busy occupied dealing with "Terrorism" or they just gave up. Coz It feels like there is barely any progress being made to get her back safe and sound.

How can you know that guy was possessive, jealous and abusive before you have falling in love with him? The modern young peoples are very easy to love and living together as well as break up. Some peoples do not accept when they break up. They can not let it go and they do silly think like this story. I hope she was still alive with that guy and treating her well regardless of isolating from society for while.
