18 months if that only count by the time his case accepted in court but if really starting from November 2018 until now it's 48 month in total. That includes 35 days in solitary confinement with daily interrogation.

Best of luck to him.

How does the judge issue a verdict that does not humiliate the prosecutors and does not frighten the international business community?
Unfortunately, Kelly’s actual innocence is most likely of little concern.

What has happened to this man is beyond Kafka’s worst nightmare. And all in a so-called advanced nation.

Exactly. Money that was not decided and not paid and yet it has to be disclosed?? What next? You get arrested for tax evasion for not declaring an income you NEVER received?? Which is pretty much what is happening here.
Well now the world can see just how "advanced "Japan is
egads man!
It's been over 3 years since he was arrested. Just let him go back to America and wash his hands of this.

I sincerely hope Kelly is found innocent. The one who needs to be tried is the coward bailjumper Ghosn.

Found "guilty" freed on time served.
Then, Mr Kelly, write your book.

An innocent verdict will trigger international criticism.
A guilty verdict will trigger hate and rage.
Either way the j-justice losses.

But the judge and prosecutors will get promoted. That’s all that matters to them.
