Will be interesting to see the outcome, have there been any mental health defences raised?

Mirai - first of all I dont get it.

Secondly, this wasnt a car accident. The man deliberately rammed a store, hitting people as he did, and then jumped out and stabbed innocent people to death, including a young mother protecting her baby. No accident.

De Soto - American car manufactured from 1929 - 1961.

Too bad they coddle their violent criminals there by giving them "life" in prison. He purposely took THREE innocent people's lives, thus, his too should be taken.

Not fair; and not justice.

As I said before on here, he will be in a Guam prison which is an island where many people know each other. Life in prison will be cake for him and he will probably get what he wants when he wants it. Japan and Guam need to work together on this issue together in the best possible way as Japan pumps in tons of money into Guam every year.

Just a mere life sentence. Really not fair and no justice at all. That's what we get when some wants to abolish capital punishment.

Dudedeuce, not too sure how Japan can influence the trial here no mattet how much money tourist contribute to the economy.

He will have to be tried and convicted in an American court without any outside influences, although I am sure it is well known how much outrage his crime had caused

Life in prison is far worse than being executed. Let him suffer not for a minute or two, but for the next 30 years or more. No more shopping, no swimming, no privacy, no sunshine for most of the day, no beer, no ice-cream, no enjoyment and no freedom. That is true punishment. Death is the easy way out.
