thank goodness this monster is getting at least life in prisoin, i still think he should be executed as painfully as the deaths he gave to innocent people in a savage attack. Mental illness is no excuse for crime..those who commit such heinous acts should pay the same price as anyone. they did it.

That depends on the degree of mental illness. If they are so sick they cannot differentiate between right and wrong, it's the ONLY excuse for a crime.
