iPhones have plenty of malware, and there's plenty of phishing attacks targeting iPhone users. Did you not just notice the iCloud debacle?
No phone is secure inherently (well, maybe the Blackphone), it's up to you to use common sense when using your phone, not click on suspicious links, not download dodgy apps. Doesn't matter what phone you use.
