Police said Monday they have arrested a teenage girl for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old boy she had been seeing romantically in Inagawa town, Hyogo Prefecture.

The 17-year-old girl told police the two were discussing breaking up at the boy’s apartment at about 11:50 Sunday morning, when the situation escalated, TV Asahi reported. The girl then allegedly produced a knife she had concealed and stabbed the boy in the back.

Police are still investigating the incident, but believe the girl suspected the boy of cheating on her, TV Asahi reported.

"The girl then allegedly produced a knife she had concealed and stabbed the boy in the back." This stabbing must be premeditated.

Hmm, we have teen drama here in the US, but I've yet to see it to this extreme.

He was lucky that she did not cut his private parts while asleep.

The modern age ... in the day, a couple of slaps to the face and it would've all been over.

MONSTER!! They should try her as an adult for attempted murder. The feminists can start clicking "Bad" now. If you do you show your favoritism towards gender.

Her arrest is merely for the press. I bet they let this monster out back into society. Then all women will think it's okay to stab any man who doesn't agree with them. Where are men's rights in this country? A: There are none.

Japanese Police: J-Women can't stand rejection and are extremely territorial. It is regrettable. Now young lady try not to stab anybody else. Have a nice day.

Matthew better becareful for what you wish for!! I'm sure getting stabbed by a woman is no barrel of laughs!! Hahaha?? LoL??

It was premeditated attempted murder. She brought the knife cause she had intent to kill the young man.

Movies like Battle Royale are glorifying this type of violence. Not only Japan but America as well. Sucker Punch is one such example. Girls want to kill these days. You'd be surprised by the number of girls who play Call of Duty.

I have to go back to Japan though. The animation and movies are portraying Japanese girls as violent. Naturally life is imitating art.

No matter what, this girl is totally in the wrong and should do some time in jail. Instead she'll do her best impression of Lindsey Lohan and she's probably already back at home.

I don't dispute it was premeditated Netninja but I gave you a "bad" because there is no way she will be tried as an adult, just as 17, 18, 19 year old "boys" are not tried as adults either in this country. Don't know why you hate women so much? Your posts sure seem to point that way.

Net, relax! I doubt any women in their right mind woudl defend this girl. Agree with Sau - what's up with the women hate?

Wow! Now there are Japanese Girls that stalk men!! lol

Now? Ebon, I guess you are new here or never dated one. The stories from the guys I know are shocking!

It appears that most people are thinking that the boy was breaking up with the girl, but I ask, "Who broke up with who?"

The story doesn't seem to provide a clear answer as it states they were discussing a break-up. It's interesting that most people think that the boy was breaking up with the girl, but at the end of the story, it said that the girl suspected the boy of cheating on her. Doesn't that sort of make you think that she was planning to break up with him and then maybe get a bit of revenge (via the knife)? Hmm. Makes me wonder anyway.

Sounds like she was a fan of School Days.

She can be my Girlfriend, sounds like she make the best waifu. :)

NetNinja -- I have no idea what you're going on about, but none of it has anything to do with the article. But if you want to make blanket statements, let's consider how odd it is that in news articles like this, if a man does something like this, that one guy is a nutjob. If a girl does something this, suddenly all women are crazy and violent. Something to think about it.

Anyway, sounds like she didn't take the breakup to well... I hope the guy comes out of it all right.

How is the boy? Dead? Alive? Hospitalized? Walking around with a band-aid?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Somebody is thinking the guy wanted to break up, and the girl stabbed him. But, the article doesn't say that. Probably it was the other way around. I have a feeling that this guy deserved that. Anyway, this guy is lucky...I've read some women cut off their partners dicks.

Kochikame very interesting topics, not too sure why you need to add fuel to the flame here and bring up the cutting peckers off comment though, bad enough this young dude gets stabbed in the back, now you want to raise the stakes and just get Japanese girls to pull a Loren Bobbits too?? You think the guy DESERVED getting stabbed in the back?? SCARY!!!
