I remember that case, but don't remember the tear gas part. The news I read is he "distracted" the store clerks.

I don`t see why he should be extradicted. When was the last time Japan extradicted one of their own criminals?

Thank god for other police forces.

I do also remember this case, but cops and JT didn't reveal what spray they were using. Now is clear to all readers. He certainly went far away. Let him taste Turkish jail for change. Don't bother bringing him back to Japan; eliminate the costs due to economy drowning. Robber should use perfume instead of tear gas, and would possibly get suspended sentence if he brought back to Japan. Is ‘‘Pink Panther’’ still alive on TV shows? Good job by the police in Cyprus.

isn't stealing these expensive items a little too easy? I mean you spray some tear gas on the clerks and you leave with 284 million yens. shouldn't the security be tough in those places?

He should've stayed in Japan, he would never have been caught...

A hottie in a diamond shop had her Taira stolen and was crying. Something comedic in that somewhere?!!?

Japanese police, well done.
Now perhaps you can focus on murderers.

'Pin Panther II' movie is now in cinemas. Will someone make sure that gang will go and see it. (They can visit Australia to see it)

Are they sure it wasn't Rupin the III that carried out the heist?
