Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga, the top government spokesman, said Tokyo has identified "prolonged and wide-ranging" cyberattacks by the APT10 group to its government and other institutions.

So basically, China is hacking at every 1st world country and getting caught. It is only the places where Chinese-made network equipment is popular that they aren't caught. Hummmmmm.

Wonder why that could be?

You can’t blame every 1.2 billion people for hacking. Groups OK, but not a whole country.

@Goodluctoyou, It's the CCP government that runs the country of China. They fund the hackers, so yeah, while not every citizen is being blamed like you want to try and say it, China as a country is responsible for it.

How do you stop Huawei from dominating telecommunications market (5g, etc..)? Conjure up propaganda to plant doubt into people's minds.

Every capable country has spies in various countries, and cyber attacks are common place.

The minister of cyber security in Japan doesn't even know what a USB is.

Before everyone blames Japan first, please note that it is not only Japan that is criticizing China, so is the United States. Clearly, where there is smoke there is fire.
