He wasn't bringing the suitcase to China. He was - allegedly - bringing it to Japan. The Nigerian likely has connections to Japanese drug-dealing gangsters.

I don’t know what a “stimulate”, but if it is Meth, then at least a few peoples lives won’t be destroyed by this dangerous drug. For him, money for victims, misery and possible death.

Wherever you are in the world, never ever pool somebody elses luggage. Everybody is asked at check in "Did you pack your bags yourself"? Has your luggage been left unattended at any point"?

He has had a trail in the PRC which would probably have been more fair than any trail that a foreigner would get in Japan.

I know that if you have a car and go have a night out with some friends and one of them have drugs but doesn't tell you, in case of a police stop and search you will see your car arrested. One my also use you for a drug deliver without you knowing and a bust get you in jail for long. 79 years old was toasted by some pick up artist. Bad luck he was in China.
