Why did it take so long to do a search?

Appalling!

So, no novel? What a surprise that is, NOT! He’s just another delusional loon who never received any treatment for his mental health.

May he rot in hell, where he suffers the fate of his innocent victims.

I honestly cannot count how many of these disturbing news reports I have read on JT where the suspect originates from or is living in Saitama prefecture! Looks like it’s a bit of a nut hatchery!

Ghastly way to go, and most of them were in their only in their 20s or 30s. One hell of a shame for so many with so much to give and live for.

Will not be surprised that s real check was not conducted but rather a Q&A. I worked for a J-company for more than 20years and there was never any inspection.

@Kobe White Bar Owner - According to this article it was.

@zichi - I dunno. I think it's better to have a serious review of safety procedures, and fire escape procedures.
In any case, the arsonist threw gas on some of the victims. No fire code will save you from that.

I meant on the company level. Actually go through fire drills, talk about what you should do. The government cannot work on such detailed levels, catering to each unique building, company situation. The people who live / work there need to do that on their own. The government only provides guidelines and minimums.
