Twitter do not remove criticism of vaccines because I talk about the difference between Moderna and 3rd best vaccine all the time.

Twitter removes posts about false cures and information not backed by evidence about life or death policy for the general public, so ignorant people won't overdose on horse medicine or poison themselves with bleach.

The government is not putting tracking devices in the vaccine. so you should not get vaccinated and risk your life and the people you come into contact with.

Twitter is banning half of the people from using its platform. Anyone with center right ideologies is a target. Coincidently, Twitter has also lost half of its stock value. Coincidence? I think not. Social media can not afford to alienate 50% of the population.

To bad Twitter wasn’t available Sep 18, 1931 through Sep 2, 1945. Another 15 years of drug control, obscene acts against humanity and financial crimes could have easily been expunged from the records.

I completely avoid the cesspool that Twitter has become in the past few years. I’ve also recently given up Facebook for the same reason.

Not true at all. What it does do is occasionally remove tweets that are racist, homophobic, misogynistic etc. But this not what we normally understand as "center right"

There is only 1 govt per country. There's no choice.

Companies are not mandated, certainly not those with platforms to publish ideas. If you want to publish an idea, $5/month will get you a server and you can publish anything you like there. The barrier is extremely low. You have a choice.

Also, when the govt doesn't like what you say/do, they show up at your door with guns. Govts have the legal power to include a gag order - so you cannot share what is happening.

When a company doesn't like what you do/say, they send a letter. That says "please stop" or we will sue ... 80% of the time, that's the end. They decide not to sue. There's also the "Streisand Effect" when a company sues since they don't have the power to prevent sharing of everything they've done.

Those are the differences. Huge differences.

Stop trying to claim that any company is the same as a govt. They aren't by any stretch of any imagination. This applies to extremely huge companies too. I've worked at a few huge, world-wide companies. A "company policy" isn't the same as the weakest law in any country.

I regret the oversight. $5/month is currently less than 600 jpy (¥576.28), so while not completely free, it is pretty close.

There are actually web hosting companies that charge much less and actually care about free speech. I used one for years that was prepaid - USD10 would last a few years. https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/ This company has been around for multiple decades and does what they say they will. For a static website, the only way I know to be cheaper is to create pages at github (owned by MSFT), so I'd rather spend the $10 and forget it for a few years. If an idea becomes popular, it might cost $10/month, but that won't last and bandwidth will drop back to $0.25/month again.

Obviously, these are not the 1-click websites, but any neophyte Unix/Linux admin can easily setup a few static web pages in a few minutes if they are familiar and 30 minutes if they aren't. China hates the NearlyFreeSpeech hosting service and so to lots of people who are against 100% freedom of speech, because they only respond to valid, legal, requests in their jurisdiction. That response is to forward the legal documents to the address they have for their client. It is possible to put $20 bill into an envelope and mail it off to the company so they don't actually have any contact information for you. Then if you are cautious and used TOR and a VPN for all access, there wouldn't be away way to trace back to the content creator.
