Now that is what we call karma.

Eventually it catches up with these animals, even after decades.

He got along with all the staff

That's probably why his cellmate did it.

In U.S. jails you are either with the inmates or with the staff. He probably had loose lips.

No, if the US can’t guarantee the safety of extradited prisoners

Extradited prisoners or not, that say a lot about a country that ca not guarantee the safety in their own facility.

And yet we don't torture them to insanity like it seems Japan does.

died Monday after being stabbed by his cellmate in a prison in the state

There is no safety at all in US prisons there. It reminds of me some movies showed prisoners kill another prisoner who they don't like.

@Kwatt:

"What is the prisoner code? It sounds like no body have responsibility about killing in prison.--welcome to america! son Guards or director must have some kinda responsibility about their life in prison."

Its the guards who will tell the other prisoners what a Gaigin JN did, ESPECIALLY in this case involving women, and "innocent" offspring but you would not know anything about tha as most of your peeps.. He's lucky he did not get raped over and over before taken out..

Very few people, especially convicted criminals, get along "well" in such confined spaces.

US prison seems like hell. They probably worry about own life every day.

Cue the violins for the bleeding hearts lamenting the death of a despicable piece of trash.

How about the innocent victims here whose lives were cut much, much shorter than this scum?

Crickets.

Bound to be a blow for future extradition requests from the US.

US prison justice differs somewhat from the Japanese hostage justice system.

30 years after the fact by someone elementary-aged at time of the crimes? Probably just some conflict or a nutty person.

Fighto: Cue the violins.

What would satisfy your lust for blood? Fukusaku was given two life sentences for his crimes, not 30 years and a shivving.

If the US can’t manage its bestial prisons, foreign criminals it wants to try will not be extradited. Victims won’t then get the justice they deserve.

The reports said, quoting police investigators, that Fukusaku was found bleeding from the neck after being assaulted with a weapon by his 38-year-old cellmate in the correctional facility in Hawaii.
