Doesn’t sound like what ordinary tourists do.

Kubota entered Myanmar last month from neighboring Thailand on a tourist visa and contacted protesters regarding where they would gather for a demonstration.

I am pretty sure the conditions of a "tourist visa" do not include filming political protests, so like the Burma regime or not, they seem on solid ground here.
