A 45-year-old unemployed woman has been arrested for interfering with police in the line of duty, accused of making 80 nuisance calls to police from midday on May 7 to the early hours of the next morning.
Police from Takamatsukita police station said Kikuyo Nishiyama told them in one of the calls that she had killed someone, causing officers to rush to the scene of the reported incident, while in other calls she remained silent. The woman made most of the calls from her cell phone with user information blocked, but in some of the calls, she left her real name and address.
Police said the woman lives by herself and was quoted as saying: “I’ve got a grudge against the police. I wanted to get even with them.”

Yet another over-the-hill loon! This one is only in her forty's. What would she be capable of as she gets older and crazier? She might actually carry out some of her threats.

If we all have grudge against police, than crime will rise higher up. We should respect law in order, and sure not all cops are the same. You have to take good with bad!!!

Despite this being a rather serious matter, it gave me a laugh thinking of all the cops racing around the streets looking for a dead body.

Gee... I wonder if Japanese Finest were able even to find her...? Or did she turn herself in, after she found them cowering in a corner or fast asleep from drinking drug-laced tea in a koban...?

For all those who were wondering where the police were when a real crime was happening... now you know.

I'm sorry but I will have to say that this is funny as hell; I do understand that she is taking time from the police to combat real crimes.

Too bad for the cops. It's not like they can get an unlisted number.
