Kanagawa cop arrested for flashing women in park

A police sergeant in Kanagawa Prefecture has been arrested for exposing himself to female passersby in a public park in Kawasaki, police said Monday.

According to investigators, the 34-year-old traffic division sergeant, who has been named as Yoshinori Kurata, returned to his Kawasaki home briefly after work on Saturday night before going to the park inebriated and removing all of his clothes except his shoes and socks, Fuji TV reported.

Kurata was arrested after police received a report from a 63-year-old woman who encountered him in the park at around 10:30 p.m. He was quoted by police as saying he stripped off because he finds women's reactions "exciting," Fuji reported.

Police are currently investigating the possibility of Kurata's involvement in over 20 other similar incidents that have been reported in the area since January.

This guy must be auditioning for SMAP.

Lmao @ Yubaru... I think the same too. Still shocked the SMAP dude (whatever the douche's name is) is back on tv screens despite that act... .

Looks like these things are so common nobody bothers to comment anymore.

and the jcops continue to work hard to win the public's trust

Except Nakai didn't flash anyone. Drunk and disorderly was the charge IIRC.

Drunken perv-switch goes off and there you have it. Another "respected" citizen in hot water. Idiot.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Another fine kanagawa law enforcement specimen upstanding in is field, naked but upstanding. Dickhead.

Except Nakai didn't flash anyone. Drunk and disorderly was the charge IIRC.

It wasn't Nakai, it was Kusanagi

*A Japanese pop singer who was arrested for public indecency after being found drunk and naked in a Tokyo park has apologised for his "shameful" conduct.

"I drank a lot and did not know what I was doing," Tsuyoshi Kusanagi said on Friday after being released by police.*

The cop is just copying him, turn about is fair play right?!?!?

The comedy value of Japan's police can not be matched anywhere else in the world! What an institution! Except when it's not funny and they sexually harass women, lockup innocent foreigners or let suspected murders walk away while twiddling their thumbs (Lucie Blackman and the Ishihara case)...the police ranks need to be reformed, retrained and given a thorough firing of all keystone cops who do nothing more than give directions (while wearing their bulletproof jackets!) and collect paychecks...Japan is very lucky to be such a naturally law-abiding nation.

Yay the weekly perverted J cop article!

LOL what an idiot!

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Is this park called Kusanagi Park?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Obviously directing traffic using his "Magic" wand!!-Wanker!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Jay-cops crossing the line... sigh

KariHaruka: "Yay the weekly perverted J cop article!"

Weekly?? I'd say daily is more apt, and lest we forget the guy is suspected to have done it 20 or so other times.

Anyway, still waiting for the "J-Cops" and "Crime" section to be joined together.

Haha!

because he finds women’s reactions “exciting,”

He flashed a 63y/o lady and he finds her reaction exciting? Better clear a bed in the loony ward for this joker.

Does anyone know of another country's police force that so regularly appears in the newspaper for bizzare and sexually perverted behavior? Stealing panties, licking women on the train, flashing, taking upskirt photographs, the list goes on.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

At least he wasn't taking their pictures, so we should give 'im a break.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Why is it that Japan has so many perverts? Policemen, teachers, salarymen, and men from all walks of life are taking pictures up school girls skirt, copping feels on trains, peeping into homes, etc. Why can't these perverts just stay home and masturbate to get their rocks off?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

I'm sorry but despite being a woman I lol'd here xD I think I would laugh my butt off if I saw a police dude in his socks and shoes only in the park after work xD I bet he was just standing naked and not doing much anyway xDD

Anyway, still waiting for the "J-Cops" and "Crime" section to be joined together.

I thought we were waiting for the J-Cops to be given their own section?

Except Nakai didn't flash anyone. Drunk and disorderly was the charge IIRC.

It wasnt Nakai, it was Kusanagi, and he was nude, drunk, and disorderly too. Hence my belief that turn about is fair play. All the cop has to do is apologize profusely, stay out of sight for a few months and then get back in the saddle.

Where I'm from men tend to find fistfights exciting when they are inebriated. Then again, maybe English weather isn't really suited to exposing yourself proudly.

Flashing is unzipped. This guy was in the buff except for the shoes. Should have worn pumps to turn it into a classic story. Then he could have done the time warp again.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

You have got to be kidding me. This is ridiculous. Every few months one of Japan's so-called "finest" does something stupid like this. Does the head policemen still bow to the press when apologizing to the public for the nonsense that these knuckleheads do and are infamous for?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Japan's finest. Officer Starkers. A stiff penalty is called for. How did they find out he was a police officer? Did he have his ID in one of his socks or did they recognize his you-know-what from mug shots?!

Unfortunately stuff like this in this country will never change. Good for a laugh as long as no one is abused or insulted. I'm sure even the old chook who found the guy had a giggle about it over a few sake's with her friends or family. When there are panty vending machines, tentacle penis porn, etc in the public view everyday something like this won't really surprise anyone.

I cant stop laughing! Good cop, naked cop! Too bad for law enforcement. Another slap in the pride of good policemen everywhere.

So this "upstanding" member of the police got caught showing off his upstanding member. I realize JT probably filters out most of these if they're not about someone in a position of trust, but you have to wonder how often things like this really do happen. Is it just men or are women doing it too? And if women ARE doing it too, send me the address. ;-)

Kanagawa cop arrested for flashing women in park going to the park inebriated and removing all of his clothes except his shoes and socks

So what's the problem...?

At least he didn't fire a loaded weapon into the air or stand around while people got stabbed.

Isn't this normal behavior for JCops...?

He's just doing what JCops do best...!

Not Honey Flash but Keisatsu flash! :p

"he finds women's reactions exciting"

Oh, I'll bet they're all like, "Ooooh, what a stud muffin!" lol.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

And not a single "truncheon" comment. Disappointing...

1 ( +2 / -1 )

just another day in good ol japan..

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

It would have been priceless for someone to capture this on video and then upload to YouTube. A channel dedicated to the J-stones would go viral!

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Not surprised. I know someone who took the police exam some years back and when she saw what she would potentially have to work with, she gave up the notion of joining the police force. She said she has never seen such a large collection of geeky losers in her life.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

He was quoted by police as saying he stripped off because he finds women’s reactions “exciting,”

Pity he didn't have the 'balls' to flash a Western woman - unlike J-birds who would most likely shriek, look shocked and run away, the majority of Western women would either:

Remain polka-faced. Burst out laughing. Kick him in the family jewels.

Not exactly the excitement he was hoping for I'll wager.
