good let him experience USA prison

This guy is going to experience some real justice in the USA, I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone to be sentenced for first degree murder let alone it being in California where there is a huge gang presence. He probably will never get out

From the photo, the guy doesn't look very remorseful.

This guy is a Japanese NATIONAL, he's screwed in a USA ruthless prison, he better hope he gets solitary confinement.

Did he kill her ? Maybe the Mother did, and he's covering up for her ? There could be more to this case than meets the eye. Keep an open mind.

Its a rental home, and the fact its Airbnb has no relevance that it should appear in the headline.

He has literally went to hell in gasoline drawers

From other media sources...

Fuseya surrendered to police a few days ago.

His friend had died from massive blood loss after being stabbed once below the chin.

Fuseya speaks no English and at his arraignment an interpreter was not available.

He faces 25 years to life if convicted.

Locals in this San Jose district are shocked that something like this could happen in their neighborhood.

Ryoichi Fuseya, 25, Fuseya is a Japanese national, sheriff’s officials said.!

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Notice the prosecutors aren't pinning everything on a confession

The word "confession" is not even in the article

And he already has an attorney

If the victims family or grass roots groups gets the #me too, and crimes against women groups, in the current political american climate; involved, his case will become viral.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Fortunately as a foreign national murdering another foreign national he will be sentenced to 16 years, paroled and deported in 16 months.

Japanese prisons are much harder to survive than American ones.

Dont make me laugh. Japanese prisons are like day-care centers compared to American prisons.

He probably will never get out

LOL, in Blue California? He will be out in 16 months.

Japanese prisons are like day-care centers compared to American prisons.

Lol oh dear haha. Japanese prisons are mental and physical torture chambers that destroy you mentally and emotionally.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Japanese prisons can be very harsh, but are much safer than American prisons.

I see they already got him in those deep orange county Jail PJ's

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

He has literally went to hell in gasoline drawers

That’s figurative, not literal.

Those girls at times sure can pick them, can't they?

It could have been self-defense. Assuming a jury finds him guilty, which might not be the case, there are Asian gangs in Cali prisons. If he joins one quick after found guilty, he won't need a boy friend to keep safe inside.

If he doesn't do one of those, he probably won't last long. He won't be going to club-Fed. He's going to the prison where murderers go. Lots of them in the US prisons. No Japanese food inside US prisons. He will learn English, that is certain.

Regardless, his entire world changed and will never be the same whether he is found guilty or not.

"Ryoichi Fuseya, 25, a resident of Japan, faces one count of murder with a weapon enhancement for allegedly using a knife in the killing."

"The murder charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison if Fuseya is convicted."

The last sentence in this article has to be the dumbest piece of writing that adds nothing of value to the story. Even listing Airbnb in the title was pointless, rental suite would have sufficed.

Airbnb has sought to to crack down on some guests in the wake of a Halloween shooting that killed five people at an Airbnb rental in a San Francisco suburb.

How would that have stopped this? Asking people who may rent from Airbnb, "do you have any plans to do illegal things such as killing people while you stay in an Airbnb location?" smh

He will never see Japan again

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Don't condone his action but in a US prison. He is definitely going to get a full experience and education now. Going to wish he was back in Japan.

"crack down on some guests in the wake of a Halloween shooting that killed five people at an Airbnb rental in a San Francisco suburb"

How MIGHT they be able to Weed Out the Baddies?

This should be interesting. The B&B I stayed in Seattle, had

a Robbery Suspect staying on my floor of the building, didn't hear about it until I left town.

Glad he was caught and will be charged there and not here. Here and he'd likely get two years or something, if sentences the last few days (or last 30 years) tell us anything.

A lot comments here considering he hasn't given his side of the story

This guy is going to experience some real justice in the USA,

Depends what your definition of "real justice" entails.

Those girls at times sure can pick them, can't they?

I think you meant RIP to the victim.

If he goes to a maximum security prison, a young exotic man from the orient will become some big black inmate’s doll in no time.
