Police in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, have arrested a 34-year-old unemployed man on suspicion of forcible obstruction of business after he posted comments in which he threatened to commit “an indiscriminate murder with a shotgun,” on a video-sharing website that is connected to a high school.
Police said Sho Watanabe, who was arrested Monday, touched upon the killing of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in the comments section of a video-sharing website around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Kyodo News reported. He also threatened to carry out “an indiscriminate murder” at the high school, police said.
A school staff member noticed the threatening post and contacted police. The threats started appearing on the site about a month ago, and there were a total of three posts, including one that read, “I’m going to set the high school’s hedges on fire.”

I understand that people have mental issues but when they start threatening people for attention that's the incorrect way to get help. It's sad that an innocent person has to take the punishment of someone with a warped mind set. Here in the US we just had a homeless mentally ill person his a model in the face with a lead pipe. The guy was already on probation for assault, in this case the guy should have never been out of jail he should have been locked up. He is a menace to society!!

These are copycats. Subway slashers were also copycats. The US is about copycats, and Japan even more so. Unhappy guys. No woman to have sex with. Loner guys. Looking at the internet that reminds them what other people have and they don’t have.

Actually people with most diagnosed mental conditions tend to be less violent...strange but true.
Its the ones who can fit into society but would be probably sociopaths {as opposed to schizophrenic or similar }
whose personality type shows up AFTER an incident.
People then say "there was always a question mark around him but I couldnt put my finger on it ".
