Police in Sapporo, Hokkaido, have arrested a 30-year-old unemployed man on suspicion of property destruction after he smashed the glass door of a convenience store by kicking it.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. at the store in Susukino, Chuo Ward, Hokkaido Broadcasting Corp reported. Police said that prior tot he incident, the man, who was drunk, had been arguing with a customer and a store employee.
After the argument, he kicked the door. The employee pressed a security alarm.
Police said the man has denied the charge and quoted him as saying he can’t remember what did.
