Police in Inzai, Chiba Prefecture, have arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of killing his parents in a house fire last month.
According to police, Takayoshi Shinoda set fire to his house at around 5:45 p.m. on July 14. His parents, Koichi, 75, and Hiroko, 70, perished in the blaze, Fuji TV reported.
Police quoted Shinoda as saying that prior to the fire, he and his parents had argued vehemently, which led him to douse the house in gasoline. However, he denied actually setting the house on fire with a lighter found on him and denied any intent to murder his parents.

A pathetic oxygen thief who killed his own parents. Was he also unemployed? I bet they got tired of him playing video games and told him to get a job.

Great, just great. One more statistic.
When will action begin?
