Police in Okhotsk, Hokkaido, have arrested a 67-year-old man on suspicion of attempting to kill his wife by hitting her with a crowbar.
According to police, the man is suspected of hitting his wife, who is in her 60s, on the head with a crowbar at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, NTV reported. The victim was taken to hospital, where she is in a stable condition.
The man called 119 and said “My wife hit her head and is bleeding," but later suspicions arose that he had hit his wife, and the fire department reported the matter to police at around 8:45 p.m., which led to his arrest.
The suspect was quoted by police as saying, "I didn't really want to hit her.”

I can guarantee this was not the first case of domestic violence against his wife and I am sure he has been doing it for years and she has endured.
Wishing the wife a speedy recovery and prayers this man sees the inside of a jail for a very long time.
