Police in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, have arrested a 30-year-old former Self-Defense Force employee on suspicion of fatally abusing his one-month-old son last October.

According to police, Junji Narazaki, a part-time worker, is accused of violently shaking his son Riku and hitting his head at their home between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. last Oct 3 while his wife was out, Fuji TV reported. When his wife returned home, Narazaki told her that the boy’s nose had started bleeding and that he had stopped breathing. She called 119 and Riku was taken to hospital where he died on Oct 15.

After an autopsy showed Riku had died of a subdural hemorrhage, doctors notified authorities about possible child abuse.

Police said Narazaki has denied abusing Riku. He and his 32-year-old wife have two other children, a son, 8, and daughter, 2. The oldest son was out with his mother at the time of the incident, while the couple’s daughter was home.

It is really overwhelming having small kids especially with all the crying and whining never ending.

If that poor child would be re incarnated again, he would never want to choose you as a father.

If your baby is crying, it's likely due to one of a few things. He's hungry, his diaper needs changing, he's tired or lonely, or he may be sick. It's not rocket science. If there's no fever, his diaper is fresh, and he has been fed, just let him cry till he falls asleep. Check on him once in a while to be sure he's not in distress. I have a cell phone video of my infant granddaughter (now almost 10) screaming so much she was red in the face. But I knew everything was okay. So I said to the camera "There's nothing wrong with this baby except she wants to be held". As soon as I lifted her to my shoulder, the screaming stopped instantly as if somebody had flipped a switch.

I wonder if he abuses his other two kids as well. Some people just don't deserve to have kids.

One thing I learned in my life : a lot of people want to have children, and a lot of them shouldn't.

Exactly! After reading this type of news, I always feel grateful for being born to good parents and want to provide the same care for my children. I can't imagine how a mother feels carrying a baby for 9 months only for this to happen. The father deserves whatever happens to him.

What you mean is, it's a miracle that the other kids are still alive!!

His wife should press charges of murder and a call for the death penalty for this disgusting animal. or at the very least, castration so this never happens again
