Man arrested for filming up woman’s skirt on train platform

I generally feel that Japanese women are being affected by news like this. I sometimes sensed their anxiety. Everyone is using a phone in the train nowadays and they liked to place it near their faces and the angle is unfortunately not right.

We, men, can do something about this.

We can:

1) tape the camera lens of the phone. (turn the phone protector upside down to cover the lens)

2) point the phone away from women.

3) move away whenever possible

shall we do more to show solidarity?

extra precautions women have to take to feel and be safe. Can you tell us what you do to feel safe?

As everybody knows reverse psychology works as skirts get shorter

I find it interesting to compare the differences in sexual crimes in various nations. I do not understand the attraction of trying to take pictures up the skirts of women.

Why put yourself at risk by filming up a girls skirt when there is so much free porn on the internet. I don't get what the thrill might be. Good thing is he got caught.

It's not illegal in all countries. It only became illegal in England in 2019. According to the article below (from January), since it became illegal in England, there has been about one offense reported daily.

Why are these guys so stupid? Run to the restroom, upload your stuff to the cloud, remove the data from your phone, delete the cloud storage app from your device, and suddenly it was “all a simple misunderstanding”

At least clear your device at the end of each day!!

I think in these cases, female cops should be in charge of inspection. If I was a female, I wouldn't be happy if I someone took a picture up my skirt then the police "investigate" the pictures one after another.

I caught a guy in drag doing this but because the lady he was filming did not know and walked away as I tackled him he got let off. But..... was returned to his wife in full drag and she was informed of what he had done. Ouch!
