Police in Yokohama have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of indecent exposure after he undid his pants and exposed the lower half of his body to women on a train in July.
According to police, the incident occurred on a train on the Tokyu Toyoko Line between Kikuna and Yokohama stations at around 11:10 p.m. on July 6, Sankei Shimbun reported. Police said Kohei Yasuda, a company employee living in Yokohama’s Tsurumi Ward, has admitted to the charge.
Police said Yasuda exposed himself to women passengers for about five minutes. He held his briefcase at an angle so that only women directly in front of him could see lower body.
The next day, a woman passenger reported the incident to police at Yokohama Station. After an analysis of station surveillance camera footage, police were able to identify Yasuda this week.© Japan Today
