Man arrested for molesting boy in game center toilet

Police in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, said Friday they have arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of sexually molesting an elementary school boy in a toilet at a game center in Hachioji, Tokyo, last month.

According to police, Masaki Ishidao, a company employee, has admitted to the charge. Police said he approached the boy and asked him if he’d like to be the model for a statue of an angel he was carving and he’d like to take some photos of him, Fuji TV reported. He then took the boy to a multi-purpose toilet where he allegedly molested him for about three minutes and filmed the incident with his smartphone. Ishidao gave the boy 3,000 yen.

The boy reported what happened to his parents. Police identified Ishidao from store surveillance camera footage.

Police said they found images of other young boys on Ishidao’s smartphone.

I get very angry at people like this degenerate. So angry that the worst comes out of me. I have conflicting feelings of a civilized country and backwards punishments. That's why I prefer to not opine on the very deserved punishment this man should get, whatever it is. I have lately (on these cases) preferred to focus attention on the affected/molested boy or girl. In this case, I hope this little boy can put this past in his life and look forward to a future where this incident does not impact in his interaction with others and that every memory disappears from his little mind.

I remember a very old case, I believe it was three or more years ago in Chiba, a young man who could not be ID because he was wearing sunglasses and face mask that had molested a boy in a bathtub doing something certainly disturbing I wish not to bring about. He was never caught as of I know.

People who harm children have no redemption from my POV. And they may have the forgiveness of God, but not mine.

Poor child. - Parents, in Japan particularly, need to keep a more watchful eye on their children. ANYtime, ANYplace they see an opportunity, they will get to your child. These predators are everywhere.

Start pulling the thread, there’s most likely other spiders on this web.

- “Police ound images of others on Ishidao’s smartphone”.

And his messaging/email history? Home computers? Work computers? -

Maybe not in this case, (unless Game Center managers have “wanted posters” of known offenders in the area) but Japan would finally start to benefit from a 24hour, publicly accessible, National Sexual Offenders Database.

Yes, it won’t protect children from those yet indentified by, at least, a first offense.

Still, it could help accounting for those institutional predators at schools, juku, sports & coaching facilities. Japan needs to stop their continued, migrating access to children across the country.

When will Japan start a national data bank that keeps the names and profiles of these SICK beasts ?? The public has the right to know when needed.

Disgusting, depraved piece of garbage. Lock him up and throw away the key. No right to ever live in society.

another day, another disgusting case like this, again and again and again……when will you learn, Japan?

Just get this fool and start cutting parts off. Is that so hard to do?

Clearly he’s done it many times and wont stop.

I certainly agree that full castration would be a good idea here, along with 30 years prison. That would reduce - but not completely - the likelihood of reoffending.

Masaki Ishidao is a disgusting perv piece of filth. He thinks he can even buy his way to such sick activity, as if there is any justification for this - which there ISN'T any.

A company employee at a game center where kids (and adults) of all ages get entertained. Just how many more children has he done this to before?

Put him in the can!

Thankfully the boy came out of it alive. I pray he recovers from the trauma.

It's absolutely vital that parents and teachers teach children to never, ever go with strangers.

"..In Japan particularly"?

This sort of thing is a WORLDWIDE problem! It happens in the U.S. where I live, in the U.K, Canada,

Africa, even in the Vatican!

It even happens where YOU live, too.

So before you start blaming other countries for problems like this, think about YOUR country's problems first!

Parents in ALL THE WORLD need to keep a more watchful eye on their children.

Kentarogaijin is RIGHT! This horrible thing happens EVERYWHERE, even where I live!

High hostility, but many of these same voices would cheer training this kid in the arts of death and sending him off to kill other kids and/or die in foreign countries...yeah, sexual trauma is a very bad thing, but what ELSE do we mindlessly do to our children, what other worse traumas do we inflict and never think twice about? If only these voices, these emotions, could be raised against all of the other profound traumas with which we collectively abuse our children...maybe this kind of abuse would just go away as respect for our fellow Humans actually became a reality...

Parents in ALL THE WORLD need to keep a more watchful eye on their children.

This line of thinking has created a generation of children who are useless because their parents were helicopter parents who never let their kids learn how to make mistakes and/or fail at something.

Good then @Kentarogaijin Sep. 26 8:59am Show us Your specific statistics:

Japan compared to the other G20 countries.

* - @Kentarogaijin Sep. 26 8:59am: “Parents in ALL THE WORLD need to keep a more watchful eye on their children. Deplorable sick people looking for children there are everywhere, if you neglect your children they will be at risk anywhere, any town, any country..” *

@Kentarogaijin Sep. 26 8:59am: “Less feelings and more facts..

More like justifiable and “rightful hostility” toward known pedophiles @WilliamBjornson 4:17am but good to see you’re NOT, again, trying to again infer a perpetrator perhaps couldn’t control his impulses. So, why try to turn this insidious attack on child into a anti-war diatribe?
