Man arrested for sexual assault after breaking into woman’s home through toilet window

Police in Higashiosaka City have arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of sexual assault.

According to police, Tetsuya Takegami, a self-professed company employee, broke a toilet window to enter the home of a woman in her 40s early one morning in late October, Kyodo News reported. The woman had just returned home from work.

Takegami allegedly sexually assaulted the woman after restraining both her hands. The victim suffered minor injuries, including a bruise on her left thigh.

Police said Takegami has admitted to the charge and quoted him as saying,“I saw a beautiful woman on my way home from work and followed her.”

What a mess up person. To do that when he saw a beautiful woman means he probably has done a lot of similar crimes before. Predators like these should be castrated.

A man saw a woman he thought was pretty, followed her home, decided he had the right to touch her sexually, and broke into her building to do it. Now where have we heard a story like this one lately?

“I saw a beautiful woman on my way home from work and followed her.”

And then he thought it would be a good idea to break into her home and sexually assault her. This creep is broken! He would be facing each charge seperately in Australia. Stalking, unlawful entry, sexual assault and deprivation of liberty. He'd be facing at least ten years in jail. He is likely to get a suspended sentence in Japan and no jail time at all. I believe this is why there are so many of these creeps in Japan. Their punishment does not befit their crime. This woman is gonna traumatised for the rest of her life and this creep will be back at the train station stalking his next victim within a couple of weeks.

Restraining her hands. Bruising her thigh. Sounds like it was probably rape, not just sexual assault. Why is the word "rape" so rarely used here?

"...a self-professed company employee."

What the H@LL does that mean?

He makes it sound like there are very few beautiful women in this country. They're everywhere. Try being a gentleman and maybe you'll get a positive response.

What a creep.

“I saw a beautiful woman on my way home from work and followed her.”

What a stupid reason to do anyting like this? We all see beautiful women all the time, but what seperates the real men from the creepos like this one is SIMPLE COMMON SENSE, knowing right from wrong and just being a decent human. He acted without thinking about the psylogical damage his action creates, lack of trust and discomfort she would feel in her home alone. One disgusting apple spoils it all for the rest of us decent and law abiding men and also gives fuel to the feminists to group all men as the same as this guy.

how can you call possible rape “minor injuries”? She will have servers depression, nightmares, totally feeling of insecurity, hatred of all men, fear…the list goes on.

Sick, she should have FLUSHED him.

Chemical castration is simple, quick and effective life long.

No it doesn't, get your mind out of the gutter, thighs have an outside as well as an inside.. The bruise on her thigh could be anywhere, for a myriad of reasons, I've got a bruise on my thigh right now from hitting the edge of a table after tripping over the cat. This poor lady probably got pushed around by her attacker and could have banged her thigh on anything.

What the H@LL does that mean?

Obviously, it means he said he is employed by a company.

You have really taken your protest too far. Rape results in bruises on the inner thigh as well as other injuries to sensitive areas, which would not be mentioned in a news article as it's way too private to even talk about. Speculating she banged her thigh on "anything" is downplaying what happened to her. That's far past the usual skepticism we see here, and FAR over the line. I really cannot believe that some men think like this. It's disgusting as well as frightening.

I feel for the victim. I hope she gets justice and also is able to get the relevant counseling. This low life should be subject beyond the fullest extent of the law. I cannot state how I feel because my post will get removed most likely because we have this extreme liberals who care more about the criminal than the victim.

I thought Japan along with Taiwan is one of the safest countries in the world (safer than most western countries) ???????

Creeps like him exist in ALL COUNTRIES, and on many occasions they do not receive any punishment.

why the drama??..

I thought Japan along with Taiwan is one of the safest countries in the world (safer than most western countries) ???????

And without a doubt it is, for a few isolated facts they do not take away from Japan the fact of being one of the SAFEST countries in the world..

Believe it or not...

So what exactly happened to her? You seem to have some information or, "speculating" is the only word you used which makes any sense unless you were there to witness what happened.

is there a difference between "self-professed company employee" and a "company employee"? gobbledygook.

is there a difference between "self-professed company employee" and a "company employee"?

Yes. The qualifying ’self-professed’ indicates that what follows has not been verified by any source other than the person making the claim.

(In this case, the dude’s statement (presumably to police) that he’s employed by a company has not yet been confirmed.)

The wording is very odd. Do we care if he is employed or not? If the info isn't verified, perhaps just omit it.

Almost like they wanted to use the stereo type of the unemployed loon even when he's employed.

@Eastman I would think in other words she was not assaulted but RAPED!!! Does it surprise you, consider the source! You have to always guess what is in the print and when you post specifics they sensor you.

easy language written story, like-nothing serious have happened...?

Its not "speculating", its just someone giving their opinion! Us MEN are allowed to do that, right? In the forensics field, we all give our opinion or look at things from different scenerios in all cases as to what may have happened just like this situation as this person did. Yes, she may have recieved bruises from this incident while being in a struggle to get away from the clown who attacked her thus "she may have banged her thigh"!

Speculating she banged her thigh on "anything" is downplaying

*Speculation - NOUN *the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence based on immediate circumstances

Downplay - VERB to play down; make little of

2 different things. Downplaying this horrible situation would be like saying "Ah, she made it up!" or "At least she is alive!"

Speculating this horrible and life altering situation would be like saying "Based on the information presented to me (or before me) it looks like.......

Unless you were there, please prove me wrong.
