Police in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, have arrested an unemployed 35-year-old man on suspicion of fatally stabbing his 62-year-old mother at their home.
According to police, the suspect, Hisashi Mizuki, stabbed his mother Etsuko in the back with a kitchen knife, while she was in the living room at around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Fuji TV reported.
Mizuki waited until about 11:30 p.m. before calling 110 to say that he had stabbed his mother to death. When police arrived at the house, Etsuko was already dead.
Police said Mizuki has admitted to the charge and quoted him as saying he lost his temper after getting into an argument with his mother about his attitude toward life.

So, he's 35 years old, unemployed and still lived with his mum? I think she was quite right in scolding him about his life attitude. He's nothing but a pathetic NEET! However, now he has a new life behind bars. He's gonna miss his PlayStation and manga.

Another moron snaps. Does he think people in prison are not going to scold him? Hope he cries for his mom while they show him what's what.
Illogical
I appreciate and respect all the comments above and definitely don't sympathize with the offender. But I do know long term unemployment and living off the family being dependant upon them for support is an extremely difficult situation to escape from for many, many people. My son was in a similar situation and trying to get him out of it without overly criticizing him and forcing him into more depression was a precarious situation. Long term unemployment is a mental and attitude illness I feel and criticizing the person worsens the situation which can develop to the state which happened here. I got my son out of this spiral just by constantly letting him know he is good and valued always and thus making him believe in himself again, but it did take quite some time.
