Police in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, have arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of stealing a high school girl’s uniform from the locker room.
Police said Takashi Sato, a part-time worker from Hirakata City, who was arrested on Monday, has admitted to the charge, Sankei Shimbun reported. He was quoted as saying: “I did it to satisfy my desire.”
According to police, Sato broke into the public high school premises around 1:15 p.m. on Oct 19. He then entered the gymnasium and went to the girls locker room where he broke a locker and stole the school uniform (worth 18,000 yen).
Police said Sato has also been served an arrest warrant on a breaking-and-entering charge at another school on Nov 16. When police searched his home, they found more than 100 gym uniforms and school clothes.© Japan Today
