Man arrested for threatening bus passenger with box cutter

Police quoted the suspect, who was drunk at the time of his arrest, as saying, “I got irritated because some of the passengers on the bus were staring at me.”

This is actually scary. Violent nutters like this should locked away for a long time.

Also, one does not simply carry box cutters around with them in public spaces. Not unless they intend to use it.

He threatened violence because he thought people were staring at him? Do you know how many people stare at foreigners in Japan, even within big foreigner-filled cities like Tokyo? Imagine if a foreign person here threatened violence every time they were "stared at". Unbelievable.
