Police in Tokyo said Thursday they have arrested a 40-year-old man on suspicion of throwing bodily fluid on a girl's skirt on a crowded train last December.
According to police, the suspect, identified as Tetsuya Fukuda, a contract worker, threw the liquid on the skirt of an 18-year-old girl on a train between Kinshicho and Akihabara stations on the JR Sobu line at around 9 a.m. last Dec 11, Fuji TV reported.
Police said they identified Fukuda through DNA left on the girl's skirt.
Fukuda was quoted by police as saying he carried out similar acts on at least 100 occasions before, usually two or three times a month. He said it aroused him to be in close contact with women on a crowded train.© Japan Today
