Man arrested over death of wife whose body was found in bathtub

Police in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, have arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion of fatally assaulting his 40-year-old wife at their home last November.

According to the warrant, Teruki Fukunaga, a company employee, is accused of beating his wife Sayaka between 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. on November 27, Kyodo News reported. The couple’s teenage child discovered the victim collapsed in the bathtub just after 12 noon and called 119.

Sayaka, a part-time worker, was taken to hospital where she died of hemorrhagic shock just before 1 p.m. The hospital contacted police.

Police said the woman had bruises inflicted on multiple parts of her body, including her legs. Police did not say whether Fukunaga has admitted to the allegation or not.

Horrible thing for the victim but also the teenage child, hope he or she have enough support from other family members and society in general.

Oh no not again?

Bet this wasn't the first time this sadistic monster used violence against his family.

I wish the men had real option to go to court. Unfortunately, there is no such option for man. A man can never win in the court regardless of the situation.
