Police in Kusatsu, Shiga Prefecture, said Saturday they have arrested an unemployed 36-year-old man on suspicion of fatally abusing his three-year-old son.
According to police, Kazuhiro Sakano abused his son in August while his 26-year-old wife was in hospital giving birth to their daughter, Fuji TV reported. The couple also has a one-year-old son who was home at the time but he was not injured.
Police said that between noon and 2 p.m. on Aug 13, Sakano beat his son about the head and stomped on his stomach. At 3:15 p.m., Sakano called 119 and said his son had fallen off a table and was unconscious.
The boy was taken to hospital where he died of brain damage later that day. Doctors noticed bruises on the boy’s body and notified police of possible child abuse.
Police said Sakano has admitted to abusing his son and quoted him as saying he got angry because the boy had a messy room and refused to tidy it up.

Needed to make way for the new baby girl, so one had to go and sadly it was the 3 year old boy. Animals in the wild sometimes do that if there are too many offspring to ensure survival of the remaining offspring. Or maybe they just wanted a girl and a boy or maybe he is just pure evil and should rot in prison for the rest of his life. So much for enjoying my Sunday morning coffee.

A 36 yo man stomping on a 3 yo baby's stomach and beating him in the head because a baby didn't want to clean up a room? Cleaning up after your babies falls under the responsibility of PARENTING. YOU clean it up if the baby doesn't want to do it. Or you do it together. That baby doesn't deserve such a violent death. The punishment for this abusive man should be swift, just and very long term.
