Police in Tokyo said Monday they have arrested a 76-year-old man on suspicion of killing a 67-year-old man in the hostel where they both lived.
According to police, Kenzo Uchida stabbed the victim in the neck at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday after an argument in the lobby of the hostel in Taito Ward. The victim was taken to hospital where he died later.
Another hostel resident called police after the incident. Uchida was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but police changed the charge to murder on Monday.
Police said Uchida has admitted to stabbing the victim who lived in the room next to his but denied intent to kill. He said he was irritated at his neighbor because he often made a lot of noise in his room, and he couldn’t stand it any longer. However, he said he just wanted to hurt the man, not kill him.

You did the crime now do the time Mr. Kenzo Uchida. You don't use a knife on someone without intending to kill them. If all you wanted was to hurt him that's what your fist are fore.

It would be funny if his cellmate was the noisiest snorer in the prison.

You know....talking to him might've kept you out of trouble! No need to quickly resort to such violence.
