Police in Tokyo have arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s after breaking into her apartment in Kunitachi City.
Police said the suspect, Kuniaki Uoka, a company employee, has denied the charge by claiming “not to remember” the alleged sexual assault, Sankei Shimbun reported.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 4 a.m. on Feb 15. Uoka is accused of unlawfully entering the victim’s apartment and threatening to kill her with a knife if she resisted. He then tied her wrists with a towel and raped her.
The woman, who lives in the apartment alone, was not acquainted with Uoka, police said, adding that Uoka was arrested after an analysis of the building surveillance camera footage.

He doesn't remember? That's his defence? Pathetic scum. His victim will never forget.

If Japan's law system doesnt change in terms of giving more severe punishments to those who commit raping, those crimes will keep happening.
