Man attacks elderly woman in wheelchair

Police said Wednesday they are looking for a man who attacked an 83-year-old woman in a wheelchair in Hitachiota, Ibaraki Prefecture.

The woman was using a motorized wheelchair on a road at around 2 p.m. on Monday when the incident occurred, NTV reported. Police quoted the woman as saying that a man got out of a passing car, shouted an obscenity at her, then struck her with a cylindrical object and fled the scene.

Doctors say the victim sustained minor injuries in the attack, but that her life is not in danger. Her attacker was described as 160-165cm in height, and driving a white car.

I can not write here what I would like to say about this guy. Use your imagination folks......there are dark places on this earth where this guy deserves to be put, never to see the light of day again.

My imagination tells me the moderators would edit or delete it...but I get your point and agree.

95% of the time it was my lack of patients that put me in that frame of mind.

Do you drive an ambulance?

Scumbag

....times infinity! This dude just had to be dropped on his head as a baby, and a school boy, and as an adult!

Well that's a new low.

Driving I get pissed all the time. As I look back at the event that made me angry, 95% of the time it was my lack of patients that put me in that frame of mind.

What on earth is up with the news?

a man got out of a passing car,

Since, apparently, he was also the driver, I guess he must have stopped first... Anyway, what a cowardly thing to do... a human being can't get much lower than that. I hope the old lady isn't too shaken up by this heinous act.

I couldn't live with myself if I had done that to any old lady let alone one in a wheelchair. Catch this guy and lock him up for a while. Geez!

This scumbag must be hunted down by the J cops ASAP!! If this stupid idiot fool would do this to a POOR defenseless old woman in a wheel chair????? Think of what this idiot fool would do to somebody driving just "a bit too slow" out there in the middle of no where Ibaraki!!! I can not wait for the J cops to use a decoy to pretend they are an old woman in a wheel chair etc..and catch this dirty scum bag of an excuse for a human being, but more like the "missing link" between US and Neanderthals, with no offense intended to...yes, Neanderthals!

So it's not just Saitama ken that has these problems. As I said , if you trawl the statistics .......

If they catch this *#%@! a fitting punishment would be to confine him to a wheelchair for the rest of his miserable life.

You have to remember that driving is a privelege and if individual cannot follow the rules, the police can suspend his license for a while until you get to your senses. No matter how angry you are driving, you have to be patient and co-exist with other on the road.

This guy was clearly out of his mind from some sort of reason. I don't think it would have mattered had it been a a child, teen, adult or elderly, crippled or not, he probably would have found someone to do the same thing to. This really didn't have to do with the woman, it just happened upon her.

Guy needs to be dealt with quickly before he does something worse.

Wow, what a brave guy! Shame the woman did not get the license plate number down. I can understand the frustration if it's a narrow road and you have to wait behind a slow moving automatic wheelchair/cart or what have you, but there is no excuse for this, and especially given the person's age.

the road where it occurred.

This guy is a complete bell end. I worry that one day while cycling I'll meet a similar knob with as SFA patience for other road users. kowai.
