Police in Tokyo said Thursday they are looking for a man who attacked a 63-year-old man with a metal pipe as he was walking along a street in Minato Ward.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 8 a.m. Wednesday. Fuji TV reported that the man told police he heard a voice call out from behind and as he turned his head, a man sprayed something in his face, almost blinding him. The assailant then hit him with a metal pipe before fleeing.
Police said the victim suffered injuries to his head, right shoulder and left knee.
The suspect is described as being 30 and 40 years of age, and was wearing a white helmet and blue work fatigues.© Japan Today
