Police on Tuesday charged a man with attempting to commit obscene acts after he broke into the home of a 10-year-old elementary school girl in Himeji City. The suspect, Ken Nagi, 29, was initially charged with breaking and entering.
According to police, on April 10 at around 4:30 p.m., Nagi -- dressed as an employee of the local water department -- entered the home of the 5th grade student, with the intention of committing an obscene act. When the girl, who was at home alone, screamed, he fled the scene.
Since 2007, three other similar crimes have been reported in the area near Nagi's office, and police are currently investigating Nagi's connection to the incidents.© News reports
