A gunman opened fire on two people, killing one man and injuring another, in a suspected gang-related shooting in Imari, Saga Prefecture, on Tuesday.

Police said the shooting happened just after 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Yamamoto Memorial Hospital, located in a residential area just 500 meters away from the city’s biggest station, Imari.

The gunman ran away from the crime scene and his whereabouts are still unknown, police said. No information has been released on the victims.

It would be nice if the Yaks downed guns and called a truce just for a while. I guess extortion and drug-dealing must go on despite the disasters right now.

You know some kinds of "hurt" you just can't see. In this country, with the relatively few hang gun related crimes it has, I believe that shootings like this do more harm than meets the eye.

"You know some kinds of "hurt" you just can't see." -I think I read that on a Hallmark card. Was it a hobby shop BB gun?

And I thought all the Robin "Yak" Hoods were busy handing out riceballs to the suffering victims in Tohoku.
