He probably in part realised that no one bothered looking him up until he pushed the lawsuit, and the damages he had to pay in losing were far, far greater than just letting it go and atoning for his crimes.

If we were to do a strict eye for an eye punishment, it would be the court forcing him to prostitute himself. If he castrated someone, then by this standard he can be castrated. That being said, there is no 100% rehabilitative justice systems (though scandinavia comes close), nor 100% retributive (exact eye for an eye, not life for an eye) justice systems, though Iran and Saudi Arabia come close.

A picture, name and details of this man should be posted everywhere in Japan based on the crime he has committed.... "Child Prostitution" I'd consider is as severe as murder!
