Police in Fuefuki, Yamanashi Prefecture, said Wednesday that a 57-year-old man was found dead at his home on Monday morning.

According to police, police received a call from a 60-year-old woman, in which she said that her husband had collapsed.

Police rushed to the scene and found the man lying unconscious on the floor of the livingroom, TBS reported. An autopsy Tuesday revealed strangulation marks on his neck, police said. Furthermore, the man appeared to have suffered severe brain hemorrhaging.

Police said the deceased man and his wife were the only occupants in the house and that they have begun questioning the victim's wife.

Brutal and unfortunate. Must be rare in that area for it to make national news.

Do they have a butler? If not, I suspect his darling wife clocked him over the head with a frying pan and then strangled him.
