I get having a kid when you are young, maybe a mistake...but four?!? What, he had a kid at 18 and decided to triple-down? Yeah, I can see where the stress may come from. Too young to probably be having any kids, nevermind four.

All the stress in the world shouldn't cause this, but people need to stop having kids before they are very ready, and definitely don't try to "fix" things by just having even more.

It took more than 18 months to arrest him? Surely they should have arrested him at the time the child was brought into hospital?

In many parts of the world couples must take blood tests and undergo a psychological evaluation before a marriage license is issued. It keeps all the creeps and the rejects from having kids that will suffer at their hands.

23 and he's already fathered 4 kids? Clearly someone skipped out on sex ed classes and now an innocent, helpless baby suffered the consequences of this man-child's inability to handle stress. Babies cry. It's a fact of life. Can't handle parenthood? Don't have unprotected sex.

Where are all the people that would have been saying we should feel sorry for the woman if the mother had done it? I say lock this guy up same as I would had it been the mother. There is ZERO excuse for this kind of thing -- no stress from the child crying, or PPD, or whatever abbreviation it is. Give him life in prison.

Dogs bark. Babies cry. And four kids at the age of 23? If you can't take care of a dog, don't have kids, especially four! I was 24 when my first son was born. Wasn't exactly planned and nearly bankrupted us. We weren't stupid enough to have more until we were financially stable. I can't imagine how reckless you can be to have 4 children at the age of 24.
