A man stole 93,000 yen from a 7-Eleven convenience store in Yoshikawa, Saitama Prefecture, on Tuesday, police said.

According to police, the man entered the store at around 2 a.m. TBS reported that he asked the 22-year-old clerk for a packet of cigarettes. Then he reached over the counter and threatened a second employee with a knife, demanding he open the cash register. The man fled with 93,000 yen.

Police said the two employees in the store were unhurt. The thief is described as being in his 20s, about 170 cms tall and was wearing a black parka and cap.

Another unemployed idiot trying to get money. If he put in as much thought in finding a job and how to keep it as he did when he thought up to rob the place then maybe he wouldn't be hiding from the cops and have money.

93 000 yen.

Is that worth years in prison?

Is it worth someone's life if he used that knife?

Is that worth living in fear of the police for years if he isn't caught?

No wonder he's unemployed if he thinks this is a good risk vs return. He could make the same amount working 12 shifts at that same convenience store.

WHO says he's "UnEmployed" ?

Guess we know how he's making a living. Always wondered between living off the parents pensions, mugging old people, robbing stores, and stealing underwear why don't these guys put just a little effort and get a job that they could give some pride and self-esteem?

YOU HAVE HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD, when it comes to understanding the ideological, cultural, economical, political, sociological., and behavioral concepts related to these issues.

Unfortunately they cant be discussed here among us "gagin community fully" I hope to see an online forum in the future where " our community can expound upon such questions more freely without simps, image protector interference etc...

Baseball bat behind counter trumps knife (or umbrella) held by someone on the other side of counter. I suppose this could lead to an escalation of force, but given the penalties of even possessing a gun let alone using it in a crime make this unlikely.

Store attendants are not allowed to take actions, they are instructed to hand the cash over.

HA HA. 93,000 Yen, what's that, about US$1000. A bully in an American elementary school takes in more than that on a bad week. Come on JT, find us more important news to waste our time posting about, LOL.
