Not the brightest trying to murder someone in the middle of the day in a popular park. And no, he is not young.

But to tell them he had the intention of killing her!?

Sounds like he's completely crazy. I live close to Yamashita Park and it's only about a 4 or 5 foot drop over the railing and into the water. Nobody in their right mind would imagine that this would be a good way to kill someone, even someone who can't swim.

Fun Fact: Yamashita Park is built on the rubble that was dumped into the sea after the 1923 Kanto earthquake.
