If you asked "Person A" (male) to write a list of 'Things I would like to do with a young teenage girl", I wonder just how many Japanese men would write:

I'm not in any way, shape, or form, implying he should have done anything illegal to/with her, but to chuck a softball at her and then attack her with a knife???

What is going on lately, the first five or six articles are about people killing or attempting to do so. And, almost are all by knives, why aren't we talking about banning knives?

Going to and from work everyday is going to be a new adventure for me with all these crazies over here in Japan. Its like you never know who will go off the deepend. I'm always ready for anything to happen, I want to get my wife a police baton and show her how to use it. I get worried now that she sometimes comes home late from work. God forbid anything to happen, I wont let the crazy go untouched by my hands.

I see a lot of school kids coming home from school as late as 8:30pm here in northern japan, DST is a good idea or at let the kids be home earlier than that, it would at least get them away from danger. Not to overgeneralize but majority of crimes happens at night.

If Japan was using day light saving and just shifting 2 hours forward, it will be pretty bright at 8pm. How needs a bright sky at 4am anyways...
