Man snatches gun from police officer, fires shots in shopping mall

How on earth do you get a gun out of someone else's holster in a split second, and then how do you know how to work the safety catch on an unfamiliar gun? Did the officer have the gun out, threatening to fire, I wonder?

If I ever needed a gun in Japan, just snatch one. But probably the old guys don't have any bullets cause they figure out how to load a gun.

A lot of things can happen in a split second.

Not all guns have a safety.

They use revolvers, not very complicated to discharge.
