Police in Osaka said Monday they are looking for a man on suspicion of attempted murder after he slashed a 51-year-old woman in her apartment.

Police said they received a call at around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday from a man in which he said that the woman he lived with was bleeding from cuts to her face at their apartment in Ikuno Ward, Kyodo News reported. The victim, Minako Shiho, was taken to hospital where doctors said her wounds were not life-threatening.

Police said Shiho told them her attacker had persistently been asking her to be his girlfriend and that he broke into the apartment at around 11 a.m. Shiho told police she first met the man three years ago. They met again about a week earlier, and since then, the man had been pestering her to date him.

The suspect is described as being in his 50s with a slender build and shaved head. Security camera footage from the neighborhood captured him leaving the area on a bicycle.

Another low-life who thinks his existence entitles him to women. Scum of the lowest order.

Can’t wait for the comments that claim this is somehow feminism’s fault.

Very confusing!!! *Police said they received a call at around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday from a man in which HE SAID that the woman he lived with was bleeding from cuts to her face at their apartment in Ikuno Ward, Kyodo News reported. *BUT SHE SAID Shiho told them her attacker had persistently been asking her to be his girlfriend and that he broke into the apartment at around 11 a.m. Shiho told police she first met the man three years ago. THIS IS A CASE OF HE SAID SHE SAID

THIS IS A CASE OF HE SAID SHE SAID

She said he slashed her with a knife, which he did. He's said nothing at all, since he took off and did a runner.

So where does skepticism come in?

Wow. Japan has a lot of romantic guys roaming around the dark shadows of love land.

Is the guy she lives with and who phoned the cops, the slasher guy as well? I'm confused.

I think maybe the police asked to keep the criminal identity undisclosed. It is obvious that poor man experience regection from women, and the lack of opportunity raises their antisocial behavior, negative interactions and in extreme criminal actions. Cuts in the women's face its an horrible crime, and not to say the traumatic experience, it can happen to any of our family members, be very careful with poor people. Shaved head and a bycicle while we watch clean suit and new car guys all day.

Poor man? We are supposed to feel sorry for someone who thinks attempted murder is an appropriate response to saying "no thank you" to a date?

And women who say "no thank you" have failed to give him "opportunity"?

Poor man, women who didn't want to date him caused him to become psychotic and want to kill us.

It really is true, you know. Men are afraid women will laugh at them, and women are afraid men will kill us. But only one of those fears is really justified, as demonstrated by the high number of men who attack and try to kill women.

Tindr did a survey, asking men and women who used their app and dating apps in general “What is your biggest fear when you go on a date with someone from a dating app?”

Women’s biggest fear was that they’d be raped or killed.

Men’s biggest fear was that their date would be ugly/fat.

I hope this man spends the rest of his life alone.

When she says 'NO', it's 'no'. This guy seems to have a narccisstic 'I get what I want' complex, just like a certain 'Donald'.

Men can be and sometimes are raped (and killed) too.

Men’s biggest fear was that their date would be ugly/fat.

Real men shouldn't be so 'choosy'. The right woman may or may not be a 'goddess'.

I hope this man spends the rest of his life alone.

Fershure. He don't know beans about women or how to treat them, let alone act around one.
