Police said Thursday that a man went into the home of his neighbors and stabbed two of them in Kikuyomachi, Kumamoto Prefecture.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 12:40 p.m. NHK reported that police received a call from a man saying that his neighbor had barged into the house with a knife. Police rushed to the scene and found a man, not wearing a shirt, brandishing two knives.
Two male occupants of the house, one in his 30s and the other in his 60s, suffered knife wounds to their faces and wrists. They were taken to hospital but their injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
Police said they are investigating the cause of the attack and if there was any trouble between the suspect and his two victims.

But I thought all these guys new the importance of social etiquette? I don't think stabbing your neighbours is anything but rude!
Are we up to three of such incidents a day now?

Police said they are investigating the cause of the attack and if there was any trouble between the suspect and his two victims. Why do they need to investigate the cause of the attack? Is the attack justified if they think he had a cause? Who cares what the cause was, violence is only justified if someone attacks you. If they do not attack there is a civil way of dealing with differences.

a realist. just because it happens all over the world does not justify its happening here in Japan. this may be a nation of 127 million people and have much less crime than other nations but it is not a crimeless nation... If you listen to the Japanese tell about their country you think this was heaven on earth. I'm with smithinjapan.. he clearly sees the real Japan and not through a Japanophiles eyes

Probably there may be some problems among them.
