Man with luggage arrested for unauthorized entry into 80-year-old woman’s house

Police in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, have arrested a 40-year-old unemployed man on suspicion of unauthorized entry into the house of an 80-year-old woman.

According to police, the man entered the house at around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, TBS reported. The woman returned home from an outing and found the man who had his luggage with him. She contacted her daughter who notified the police that someone has broken into her mother's house.

Police went to the house and arrested the man as he came out the front door.

Police said the woman and man do not know each other, and the woman had not locked the front door when she went out.
