Man's body found in garbage bag in Osaka

The body of a man was discovered inside a plastic garbage bag in Osaka's Suminoe Ward on Monday afternoon.

According to police, the bag was found at around 5 p.m. by a man who had noticed that something had been abandoned in a mass of shrubs along a promenade, Sankei Shimbun reported. Police said the body -- that of a man in his 60s or 70s -- was folded over and wrapped in a cardboard box before being placed in the garbage bag.

Police said Tuesday there were no external signs of injury on the body and that an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

Gruesome stories pretty well on a daily basis these days... Just the other day, a corpse in a coin-locker, now another in a garbage bag ? Scary !
