Police in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, have arrested a 31-year-old company employee on suspicion of stealing women's underwear.
According to police, the suspect, Tomohiro Honma, has initially been charged with stealing 12 items of women's underwear in January from the first-floor balcony of an apartment in Takatsu Ward, where they had been drying on a clothesline, Sankei Shimbun reported.
Honma has admitted stealing women's underwear on at least 50 occasions, police said. A search of his apartment turned up more than 200 stolen bras and panties. Police said Honma told them he got sexually excited by women's underwear.

PS: my 'doesn't have the balls to ask a woman out for coffee' was too strong/inappropriate. Meant he was probably too shy/nervous to ask women out (we've all been there) yet had the 'nerve' to steal undies.

Why do women hang underwear out in public in 2016? As for this guy, with as many "wet establishments" there are in Japan, he could go buy some off a worker and satisfy his urges without the risk of going to jail and now no longer being a "company employee."
